Two families lost their homes after an apartment fire in Hermitage.
Firefighters got to the apartment building on Margaret Robertson Drive around 12:30 a.m. Saturday where they found heavy smoke and flames on the first and second floors.
Multiple apartments were involved, and at least two families were displaced. Fire crews said it took 20 to 30 minutes to put out the flames.

The cause of the fire was not known at this point, but firefighters said it didn't look like it had been intentionally set.
No injuries were reported from the fire.
