FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (AP) - Fort Campbell and the 101st Airborne Division are welcoming a new deputy commanding general for support this week.
An Honor Eagle ceremony for Brig. Gen. John E. Novalis II is set for Wednesday afternoon outside the 101st Airborne headquarters building at the post on the Kentucky-Tennessee state line.
Novalis comes to the 101st from Washington, D.C.
He was executive assistant to the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff before being selected for the Fort Campbell post.
