NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Governor Lee and the First Lady visited Cheekwood for the launch of the gardens' new exhibit that aims to get kids excited about reading.

The exhibit, The Storybook Trail, was unveiled at Cheekwood Estate and Gardens' Tueday. It's an extension of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program, which gives books to children in need across the state.

It includes The Little Engine That Could on storyboards that connect to the estate's trains exhibit. Governor Lee hopes it will help grow early literacy, and get kids excited about reading.

The effort isn't just for kids. If you sign up for the Imagination Library through the Governor's "Books From Birth" Foundation, your whole family can get a pass to Cheekwood.

That's for everyone in Davidson, Williamson, and Sumner Counties.
