PARSONS, Tenn. (WTVF) — A child was hit by a vehicle in the Perryville community of Decatur County on Wednesday.
NewsChannel 5 has learned a boy was riding a bicycle in the road when he was near the 2700 block of Sardis Ridge Road. The driver stopped and called for help.
The boy was conscious after the crash, and was airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center for treatment.
State troopers will be investigating the situation, but no charges have been filed at this time.
