Christion Abercrombie: ‘God working a miracle,' mother says

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Injured Tennessee State University football player Christion Abercrombie continues making progress after being transferred to an Atlanta hospital, his mother said.

Christion’s mother, Staci Abercrombie, tweeted that “God is working a miracle.” She said Christion is now able to wave his hand, tell time and even gave her a hug when prompted.

The Tigers player collapsed on the sideline during the TSU-Vanderbilt game on September 29.

He was later transferred to a hospital in Atlanta that specializes in brain injuries.
