Injured Tennessee State University football player Christion Abercrombie has taken to social media to thank the community for its prayers.
On Monday, Abercrombie Tweeted for the first time since his injury back on September 29, when the Tigers player collapsed on the sideline during the TSU-Vanderbilt game.

He was later transferred to a hospital in Atlanta that specializes in brain injuries.
His mother, Staci Abercrombie, has been providing updates on social media, saying “God is working a miracle.”
