Two of Nashville's largest churches teamed up to host a Back-to-School and Healthcare Outreach event.
Mt. Zion Baptist Church and Brentwood Baptist Church helped families in need get ready for the upcoming school year.
The event was held at Hadley Park on Saturday.
More than 2,500 backpacks were given away, and there were also free health screenings.
