A Clarksville man has been charged in a crash that killed a 21-year-old motorcyclist.
The crash happened on March 17 at the intersection of Fort Campbell Boulevard and Tiny Town Road.
Officials with Clarksville Police said Austin McElwrath was driving a 2005 Suzuki Forenza when he was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Tyler Pettie.
McElwrath was taken to Vanderbilt Hospital where he died from his injuries.
At the time of the crash, police said Pettie was traveling 65 mph in a 45 zone and had prescription medications present in his blood.
