CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Police have released the identity of a man killed in an early morning crash on Interstate 24 involving one vehicle.
The wreck happened around 3:26 a.m. Sunday near mile marker 6 on Interstate 24.
Officials said 52-year-old Jonathan “Troy” Hargadine was driving a red truck when he struck the concrete portion of the overpass.
Hargadine died from his injuries after being taken to the hospital.
No details were released on what may have caused the accident. Authorities urged anyone with information to contact Lead Traffic Investigator Bill Van Beber, III at 931-648-0656, ext. 5486.
