Clarksville Police search for home invasion, car theft suspects

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Clarksville Police are searching for two men after a robbery turned home invasion on Thursday morning.

According to Police, a man arrived at his home in the 800 block of Biglen Road around 7:52 a.m. when two men displaying handguns approached him.

The victim was then hit in the head with one of the guns and the keys to his BMW were taken.

The victim then ran from the men, hiding behind a building at which time the two suspects entered his home. After a short period of time they left the house, got into the victim's vehicle and fled the scene.

Shortly after the BMW was reported as stolen, it was located on Lafayette Road. After a short loss of the car by police, it was seen again on Providence Blvd where it turned into the Vulcan Plant. At this time, both suspects fled on foot.

Both officers and K-9s spent some time trying to located the suspects but they were never found.

The suspects have yet to be apprehended by police but are both described as being men. One of them was wearing a black Adidas jacket and the other had dreadlocks that were nearly shoulder length.

Police have said these suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.

Additionally, a newer model red or maroon Ford Fusion with a Knox County tag which may have been involved in the original crime on Biglen Road is being sought by police.
