CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Talk about being in the right place, at the right time.

Sonja Nixon Frazier who usually works the night shift at the Taco Bell on Madison Street in Clarksville came in early that day to help the general manager.

"We noticed the line wasn't moving and usually very busy but it wasn't moving so one employee noticed a car was turned the wrong way in drive-thru," Frazier said.

Frazier said one of her employees, Jonathan, noticed a man passed out behind the wheel. As Frazier ran outside to help the man, another employee called 911.

"I put him on the ground, looked for a pulse and it was very hard to find, it was barely there," Frazier said, "he was turning blue, his ears, his lips, fingertips everything."

Frazier who previously worked as a home health care worker, performed CPR for nearly 15 minutes until paramedics arrived.

Normally a germaphobe, Frazier said that went out the door, even during the coronavirus pandemic.

The customer did regain consciousness.

Frazier was able to find that customer on Facebook and reached out to him. She says he is doing well and invited him back to Taco Bell for lunch on her.
