A Northeast High Football Coach and assistant coach were suspended and two other assistants were terminated following one of the team's first games of the season.
Officials with the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System said the actions centered around an incident involving a lack of supervision at summer football camp.
Coach Terry Arrington and an assistant coach were suspended from last weekend’s game, and two other assistants were fired.
School officials conducted a brief investigation then turned it over to the Clarksville Police Department. However, there was not enough evidence for criminal charges and CPD turned the investigation back over to CMCSS.
The camp took place last week on school property. School officials would not release any information regarding what happened in the incident.
