NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Temperatures are expected to warm into the 50s Tuesday but don’t get too used to that – another cold front is headed to Middle Tennessee.

After more than 48 hours of at or below freezing temperatures, we’ll see warmer weather today. A Wind Advisory will be in effect until 9 a.m. Wednesday.

NewsChannel 5 Meteorologist Lelan Statom says another cold front will swing through Tuesday night, ushering in more rain and colder temperatures Wednesday night.

It's possible for rain to transition to a brief wintry mix Wednesday night, but no significant accumulations are expected at this time.

More cold air will come in behind Wednesday's cold front, returning us to highs in the 30s and lows in the teens to end this work week.

Another system is set for Saturday night and may feature another chance for a rain/snow mix.
