The region could see flurries as early as Thursday as a cold front moves through.
It's expected to begin pushing through the area overnight bringing showers and some thunderstorms to Tuesday morning's commute.
Tuesday`s high will occur at midnight since temperatures will continue to drop as the cold front passes. Tuesday afternoon will reach the 40s in the afternoon. The lows for Tuesday night will drop into the 20s and teens.
A reinforcing shot of cold air is expected to move through Thursday night into Friday morning. That's when some flurries or light snow could be spotted.
Folks in the plateau could see some accumulation; however, no accumulation is expected in the Metro Nashville area.
