NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Columbia city council member died unexpectedly Wednesday morning.
Councilman Steve Boshers died suddenly early in the morning.
City officials took to social media to express their condolences.
"The City of Columbia staff and council are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of City Councilman Steve Boshers who passed away early this morning. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of a beloved member of the City family. We offer our condolences and prayers to the Boshers family and countless friends whose lives were touched by Steve."
