Comedian, Ralphie May, who was a Nashville resident, has died.
May died Friday at age 45. He suffered a heart attack after a battle with pneumonia, according to his representatives.
The comedian was a contestant on the show "Last Comic Standing" in 2003.
Netflix released a comedy series called "Unruly" in 2010.
Manager of Zanies Comedy Club in Nashville released the following statement:
Ralphie May was a beloved comic and friend of Zanies for many years.
After moving to Nashville, his residency began here shortly thereafter performing many shows yearly.
Ralphie was our go to comic for fundraising events and benefit shows.
We all loved him very much and he will be truly missed. - Zanies Comedy Club Owners, Managers and Staff
