Community rallies around family of 12 displaced in house fire

PERRY COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — A family of 12 has lost everything after a house fire in Perry County, the Sheriff's Office said.

According to a post on the Perry County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, the Hickock family got out of the recent house fire unharmed. However, they lost everything that belonged to them. Photos posted to Facebook show charred remains of what had been their home.

The family did not have homeowners insurance, so the Sheriff's Office is asking the community to step up and help. Monetary and clothing donations are recommended.

  • Womens shoes size 10
  • Girls shoes size 12
  • Girls shoes size 13
  • Mens size 36x32 pants
  • Mens size 42x32 pants
  • Mens size 36x34 pants

  • Large shorts
  • XLarge shirts
  • 3 or 4XLarge shirts
  • 2XLarge shorts
  • Girls size 7-8 shirts
  • Girls size 7-8 pants
  • Girls size 6-7 pants
  • Girls underwear size 6-7, 8

Donations can be mailed to the Perry County Sheriff's Office at 582 Bethel Road, Linden, TN 37096. Organizers ask donors include "Hickock Family" on the envelope or check.
