Just over 24 hours after hate messages were spray painted on the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro, the community came together to show support.

On Monday, vandalism was discovered at the center on Veals Road. Hate messages were spray painted in green in three locations, and bacon was placed at the entrance of the school. Muslims refrain from eating pork.
