MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — Emergency crews rescued a construction worker who fell from a roof in Murfreesboro Tuesday.
Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue officials say a worker was framing the roof of a three-story building on Memorial Boulevard when he fell.
The worker landed on the third floor, but because the building had no staircases yet, he had to be rescued. First responders got to the worker, tended to his injuries and placed him in a basket to be lowered to the ground.
The man was transported to a local emergency department for further medical care, according to fire and rescue officials.
