NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Nashville restaurant referred to humans as "animals" on Twitter in response to protests and unrest in the city and across the country.

The Original Corner Pub Green Hills has since made their tweets private, but one user, Kati Collins, screenshotted some of them.

The writer referred to people as "animals" and encouraged drivers to keep driving if protesters block roads.

Ms. Collins shared these tweets, saying "Please Nashville. Do not spend your money at Corner Pub Green Hills," later suggesting people grab dinner from Slim and Husky's - a black-owned business in Nashville.

The Corner Pub locations in Green Hills and The Nations are owned by the same person. They are not affiliated with Corner Pub locations in Franklin, Bellevue, Brentwood, or Downtown.
