NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Tennessee Department of Health reported 2,251 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, bringing the total number reported in the state to 724,742.
113 additional Tennesseans have died from COVID-19. TDH has attributed a total of 9,574 deaths to the virus.
Department officials said Friday technical issues kept them from releasing a full report that day, which likely contributed to the higher death total.
