A Lebanon city councilwoman was arrested for being intoxicated during a city council meeting.
Ward 6 Councilor, 55-year-old, Kathy Warmath, was arrested after Tuesday night's council meeting and charged with Public Intoxication.
Video from the city's online live stream showed Warmath arrive to the meeting late. She spoke up to ask a question or give comment several times.
Deputies were called to the meeting where they met Warmath in the parking lot as she was trying to get into her vehicle.
Officials with the Wilson County Sheriff's Office said the councilwoman showed signs of impairment and was placed in to custody for her safety and that of the public.
Warmath's court date was set for March 23.
