Country, Rock stars give tours of their buses to raise money for kids in need

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Stars of country and rock came together to help kids during the holidays at the annual Christmas 4 Kids Tour Bus Show.

They event was held at the Hendersonville Walmart Monday night.

This year's celebrities included Hunter Hayes, Kimberly Schlapman of Little Big Town, 3 Doors Down, and 38 Special. People were able to meet the stars and take tours of their buses, which serve as their homes away from home while on the road.

"I've been hearing about this event for so many years and how special it is. taking care of kids at Chrstimas doesn't get much better than that," said Schlapman.

The funds raised go to help pay for shopping trips for underprivileged children on Tuesday.
