NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Country music singer John Rich said he’s planning to open a restaurant in downtown Nashville next year.
According to reports, the venture has been a continuation of Rich's country lifestyle brand Redneck Riviera, which included patriotic boots and themed T-shirts.
Rich described the planned establishment as "the more rural, rowdy version of Margaritaville."
In addition, Rich was also planning a Redneck Riviera television show and has been hopeful for a Redneck Riviera music festival.
Rich has been part of the duo Big & Rich, who had the hit, "Comin' to Your City."
