Investigators said they’re looking for two people who reportedly robbed a couple leaving a popular restaurant in the Opryland area.

The incident was reported Thursday morning at a Shoney's on McGavock Pike.

The couple told Metro Nashville Police officers that two people in the parking lot asked them for gas money.

They said they gave them $3, but were then allegedly forced into their car, made to drive to a nearby hotel, and robbed of $300.

Police said there was a struggle and a gun went off at least once, barely missing one of the victim's head.

There were no witnesses. The search continued for suspects.
