NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — COVID-19 continues to bear down on businesses that depend on some of Music City’s biggest events like the CMA fest, which organizers decided to cancel this year.

Trey Harris owns Allstars Limousine — two months from now, on the streets of lower Broadway -- it would have been his busy season. Harris has been dealing with cancellations ever since CMA made the announcement.

He says while he understands the decision, he wishes there would have been more transparency behind it.

"I would have just like to have seen the mayor, governor, label execs, hold some sort of forum, discuss this so the fans can understand what has gone on in the background to make this decision," Harris said.

While the Nashville Convention and Visitor’s Corporation has mentioned the possibility of a smaller event later this year, nothing is in stone.
