A crash involving multiple vehicles has blocked a portion of northbound Briley Parkway at Interstate 40.
The incident was reported around 1 p.m. Thursday in northbound lanes at exit 28 near White Bridge Pike.
Details of the crash were not yet known. Authorities confirmed a dump truck driver was taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
Officials said Briley would remain open until 6 p.m. when they planned to close one lane to clean up the spill caused by the crash.
