Police Looking For Hit-&-Run Driver In I-24 Fatal Crash

Metro Police are looking for the driver that fled the scene of a deadly crash on I-24 West in Antioch.

Officers say last night around 8:30, witnesses reported that a motorcycle and a car were speeding down I-24 West at Blue Hole Road.

The motorcyclist hit another vehicle, causing the car to spin out and hit a guard rail.

The driver of that car was treated for minor injuries.

The motorcyclist was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.

The white car that was speeding with the motorcycle fled the scene following the crash.

I-24 West at Blue Hole Road reopened around one this morning. 

Metro Police are investigating.
