All lanes of Interstate 24 in Christian County were closed for a short time due to a multi-vehicle crash.
Kentucky State Police responded to the scene at mile marker 72 around 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Officials advised drivers to use a detour of Pennyrile Parkway and US 68 to avoid the backup.
The closure was expected to last about three hours, and as of 5 p.m. one lane had reopened.
