NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A deadly crash closed the westbound lanes of Interstate 24 in Nashville.
Metro Nashville Police officials say 32-year-old Eric Scott, of Celina, was hit and killed by a vehicle on the interstate over Woodland Street.
It's not clear why he was walking on the roadway.
According to police, the driver said he did not see Scott. No charges are anticipated in the case.
