All lanes of Interstate 24 East in Montgomery County were closed due to a multiple-vehicle crash.
It happened at mile marker 8 near Clarksville around 4:30 Monday evening.
Officials said four vehicle were involved in the crash. Two people were injured and transported to the hospital.
The scene was reopened around 8:30 p.m.
