Maintenance truck hit on I-40, westbound lanes reopen

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Westbound lanes of Interstate 40 have reopened in Nashville after a maintanence truck was hit.

The collision happened around 9:45 a.m. Thursday near the I-24 split.

It's unclear what led up to the crash.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation said the maintenance attenuator truck was hit but there was no injury to the TDOT employee.
