An injury crash prompted a large response on Interstate 840 after a car traveled down an embankment and wrecked near the roadway.
The incident happened around 5 a.m. Tuesday in eastbound lanes near Natchez Trace Parkway.
At this point, it's unclear what caused the car to veer off the road. The extent of the driver's injuries was unknown.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol said two tow-trucks were called in to remove the vehicle.
