A crash involving a Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper has been reported in Smyrna.
The incident happened around 1:30 p.m. Thursday near Sam Ridley Parkway.
THP officials said preliminary reports indicate that a trooper was out with an abandoned car when she radioed that she had been hit by another vehicle.
Additional details were not immediately available. The trooper was not hurt. It’s unclear if anyone else was injured.
The wreck was expected to be cleared by 3 p.m.
