NASHVILLE, Tenn. – An early morning crash has caused a major backup along westbound lanes of Interstate 24.
The incident happened around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, on I-24 West at the I-440 exit.
Details of the crash were unknown.
Right lanes of the roadway were briefly blocked, but the crash has delayed traffic for miles. Commuters might want to consider an alternate route.
As of 6:30 a.m., traffic was backed up all the way to Haywood Lane.
Eastbound traffic was not affected.
