Crews were called to the scene of a large brush fire behind a Donelson hotel overnight.
The incident was reported around 3 a.m. Friday behind a Days Inn on Murfreesboro Pike.
Crews were able to get the flames under control. Motel guests did not have to evacuate.
It's not clear yet how the fire started.
