NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Firefighters were able to quickly put out a suspicious fire at a home in South Nashville.
The call came in around 5:45 a.m. Sunday on Foster Avenue near Peachtree Street.
The fire chief said they're investigating it as suspicious after finding a gas can in one of the rooms.
Authorities said luckily no one was home at the time, and crews put the fire out in a matter of minutes.
There was significant damage to one room, but the house was not a total loss.
