NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Search efforts for a possible missing swimmer at Party Cove on Percy Priest Lake have been called off.
Nashville OEM says they received a report Friday afternoon of someone who went under and didn't resurface.
Sonar, divers and K-9s were used in the multi-hour search, but no one was found.
Officials say there are no missing person reports among the boats that were in the water at the time of the reported incident.
Fire officials say other than the initial 911 call there were no other reports of a possible missing person at the lake.
Search crews will return to the lake if a report is filed.
