A house fire in Dickson blocked part of a roadway.
Reports stated the fire happened after 3:30 p.m. Sunday at a home in the 500 block of East Walnut Street.
No one was at home at the time of the fire. It was called in to authorities by a passerby.
Officials said the cause was unknown and added the home was about 50 percent destroyed.
Authorities had asked the public to avoid the area around East Walnut Street and Cowan Road as they worked at the scene. The roadway reopened before 5 p.m. Sunday.
