Crews were called to an area along the Cumberland River after an apparent spill east of downtown Nashville.
The incident appeared to be some type of petroleum-type leak from a holding tank on or near a barge along Visco Drive.

Sky5 flew over the area and showed a sheen on the water. Crews with the help of tugboats worked to contain the spill with absorbent materials.
Brian Estes, the distribution manager at Pine Bluff Materials, said the spill was "taken care of" and "the proper authorities were notified."
