NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A father has been arrested after he allegedly brought his young son to a drug deal in Nashville.
Officials with Metro police 45-year-old Willie Anthony went to a Walgreens on White Bridge Road to deal heroin to another man.
His 9-year-old son was sleeping in the car during the alleged incident.
Officers said they saw Anthony sell drugs to the man and followed him from the location. They pulled him over for speeding a short time later.
According to an affidavit, police found more heroin, marijuana and scales while searching the car. The sleeping child was also found inside the vehicle.
Anthony was booked on several charges. His bond has been set at $76,000.
It's unclear if the child was placed in DCS custody or with family.
