NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Tennessee Department of Health reported 3,188 new COVID-19 cases and 69 additional deaths Sunday.
Twenty-eight percent of tests came back positive in the past 24 hours.
This brings the state's total case count to 564,080. So far, 6,512 Tennesseans have lost their lives to the virus.
The state also reported 3,527 new recoveries.
There are currently 2,813 patients hospitalized with confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Earlier today Metro Nashville reported 507 additional cases. There are 7,575 active cases in Davidson County, which has seen 66,724 cases so far.
Metro Public Health has reported 456 total deaths.
