DeKalb County man charged with killing his stepson

DEKALB COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents arrested a DeKalb County man for the murder of his stepson on Halloween.

Albert Wayne Fisher was arrested Thursday night after police say he shot and killed Tyler Durden.

According to the TBI and DeKalb County Sheriff's Office's investigation, Durden went to his mother and stepfather's home Thursday around 6 p.m. Fisher answered the door, but during their interaction, that's when Fisher shot Durden. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Fisher was charged with one count of second degree murder. He was booked into the DeKalb County Jail, where he is being held on a $500,000 bond.
