A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for the entire State of Tennessee and parts of southern Kentucky.
The advisory was issued as a result of heavy fog which has blanketed the area throughout the morning.

It will remain in effect until 8 a.m. Thursday.
Drivers were asked to allow plenty of time for the morning commute as visibility would remain low.
NewsChannel 5 Meteorologist Lelan Statom said it’s been a long time since the entire state has been under a fog advisory.
