WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — Authorities have captured a suspect who was wanted for attempted murder in Maury County.
The Williamson County Sheriff's Office said 34-year-old Leonard Beard was taken into custody off of Arno Road.
Early Tuesday morning, the sheriff's office put out an alert to tell people they were searching for Beard in the area of Bethesda Road and Lewisburg Pike.

Beard was charged with violation of probation, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and evading arrest. He is being held without bond.
Editor's note: The Williamson County Sheriff's Office originally identified Beard as a murder suspect, but later issued a correction that he is wanted for attempted murder.
