The death of a Lawrence County woman has been investigated as a homicide after her body was found.
According to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, the body of 51-year-old Barbara Lois Harros was found dead on the 950 Turnpike in Summertown.
Investigators asked for the public's help in their search for a person of interest in the case 39-year-old Howard Jason Stewart of Lena, MS.
Officials said Stewart may be operating a 2015 Dodge 1500, white in color, which is considered stolen from the victim. Active warrants are on file for the theft of the motor vehicle.
