NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A disabled tractor trailer has caused a major traffic delay along southbound lanes of Interstate 65 north of downtown Nashville.
The incident was reported Friday morning just before the Fern Avenue exit on I-65 South.
Southbound traffic was experiencing a significant backup, with one lane traffic. Northbound traffic was not affected.
Previously, the abandoned double FedEx trailer could be seen sitting in the middle of the interstate with no tractor attached to it.
Sky 5 flew over the scene and showed that crews have since moved both trailers to the shoulder of the roadway.
The incident was expected to be cleared by 6:30 a.m.
