A family of six lost everything in an apartment fire, but thanks donations from strangers have not only restocked her necessities, but also restored her faith.

On the last Friday before Tinea Beaugard's two grandkids head back to school, they went on a school shopping set up by a stranger.

It had been a long two days for Beaugard's family of six.

On Wednesday, a fire gutted out their Hermitage apartment on Hickory Hill Lane after Beaugard's fiance fell asleep while cooking.

"It hurts to have to need so much because we've lost everything but I'm just grateful for people like Miss Christina that just offered and I mean she felt like she didn't do enough," Beaugard said.

Beaugard said strangers have called nonstop wanting to help.

Even nurses at TriStar Summit Medical Center pitched in to collect school supplies for the children.

"They pretty much have everything right now that they're going to need for the first day of school started. Being a mom and a grandma myself, it's tough," Cathy Moore said.

Beaugard's daugther gave birth to a premature baby on Tuesday. The next day, she would lose all of her baby items in the fire.

"We wanted her walking in the hall and she told me she didn't have any clothes to wear. She said we just had a fire last night and we lost everything," Moore explained.

After hearing the news, some nurses collected school supplies. Beaugard said she's thankful for the support which has put her faith back in community.
