NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Some Broadway bars have asked a judge to file a temporary restraining order, asking a judge to stop the city from being able to close them down.

Bars had to close for 14 days starting last Friday when the city went back to Phase Two in its Roadmap to Reopening from the pandemic.

A lawsuit filed in May involves Honkytonk Central, Kid Rocks Honky tonk and more claims the orders to close in Phase One were unconstitutional.

The new motion for the temporary restraining order says the bars will suffer financially and have already lost millions of dollars because of Metro's health orders.
