Drive-By Shooting At Out Of Bounds Club Leaves 2 Injured

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A shooting near a club on Murfreesboro Pike sent two men to the hospital.

Officials said there was a verbal altercation early Saturday morning outside the Out of Bounds club, and that's when a suspect drove by firing shots toward the club and parking lot.

One man was injured outside of the club, and he was taken by a friend to Vanderbilt University Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities said another man was injured inside the club and was on scene when police arrived. He was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Officials said an officer followed the gunman, but could not catch up with his car.

The officer’s car was also struck once on the passenger side during the shots fired.

Police did not have a description of the gunman. Witnesses said the man got away in a dark-colored vehicle.

Murfreesboro Pike was closed for a while during the investigation. Anyone with information on this crime has been asked to contact Metro police.
